In Indy Red. Looking at a mid-June delivery.

Coming over from a 2018 General 4, so this will be an upgrade.

Can't wait.

From what the parts fiche shows in the transmission from what I can see on tooth counts it will be able to turn 35’s. Can’t find a final output ratio on them yet to verify for sure but is got the ranger low and ace gearing in it

From the current model 1k two seater it’s geared down 53/26/26 in the input shaft and reverse shaft

*what popo likes to do is change stuff down the line from there so that’s where we need to look at the output ratios for each gear and see what it really comes out to. The change the pinion/output shafts ring gears and since it’s got a new style front diff it may have a different ratio in there too.

havent had the time to really dig into the parts list and see what’s the same or different yet. Just the quick bleep Boop bop real quick to get an idea of what the gearing is

Was going to wait for the 2024s to come into my dealer, but the news of the lower gearing scared me (plus, I also got a great discount on my dealer's last '23 XP4). The number one reason I dumped my KRX was the gearing. It gets real old going down the road at 35 MPH with the engine screaming in high gear. Great for rock crawling, but not so much for cruising trails. It'll be interesting to see how the new ones handle casual riding. Maybe I'll trade in the future.
