i know that there has to be some pet owners on here that take their dogs for rides. Post up your pics of how they are secured in, or if you dont have a pic give me some ideas on how to strap my pitty in.

If I was riding around with a little 10 pound dog on a pillow on the front seat I might just stick my hand down and hold the dog. At 70 pounds there is no way I can hold on to Magic. This a dog seat belt harness from the pet store.

Of course, I had to first tell her that DFR stands for "Dogs F***in Rock!". To do this, all I had to do was loosen up the shoulder straps, and then use the sternum clip to hold her in.

I have a German Short Hair Pointer. He does not require any straps or hooks or a leash. He has been trained, he started riding when he was just a pup. The driver just has to be aware he has a passenger and the passenger has to able to hang on and he does. He has been on some very wild rides and hangs on. Great dog.
