You could look into the Silber kit and compare it to the others. I think you will find it is far and away the best value at $4600. PM me if you would like more info and I can get you all squared away with one.

Where are you going to race locally? Alot of those CMR guys travel and it seems they can throw a lot of money at their rigs.

Its just a little mud drag track here in central louisiana. mostly stock bikes with clutch kits and such. The trucks are the main attraction but, I foresee the utv class to start stepping it up. I would probably do a clutch kit, tuner , and exhaust first i guess. looking for the best bang for the dollars. Maybe they have a procharger kit. I would say a few thousand dollars to start.

 

Are you talking about Colfax or Trout Creek?

 

You would end up better buying the turbo up front. In includes everything you already plan on buying so you don't end up wasting money. We also had a few kits down at the mud nationals laying it down.

 

These motors breathe so well from the factory, bolt on stuff does very little, if not hurt it. Unless youre going to get inside the motor, or do a turbo, nothing else is going to do much. If you want to be loud and piss off your passengers, get an exhaust.

 

you hit nail on the head..I just put hmf exhaust, dobek controller & hmf clutch kit, lost 2-3 lengths..In fact exhaust is for sale..already sold clutch kit..

Alba claims 2 HP gain on their slip on against others that they tested with loss including the HMF. Wonder if it's true.
