Engine is over heating yet the radiator is stone cold. I have already replaced the thermostat. Any ideas on what to check next?

What year?

Did you bleed the air out properly? Does the output hose feel warm? Possible water pump problem

Could be air locked. You need to loosen the cap raise the front of the machine up 2 to 3 feet and run it. Watch the temp gauge, fan should come on. If it gets up to 210 215 shut it down but if it gets to 205 and then starts dropping and you can feel heat in the lines going to the radiator and the radiator itself then you got the air out. I had a 900 4 seater that I put a motor in the other day and we had to use an overhead crane and raise the front tires about 5 feet off the ground to get it to unlock. If this does not cure it check your pump
