Bought this '14 LE 3 years ago mainly due to the fact it would fit in our toy hauler along w/ the Pionerr 1000 we had and give the kids some wheel experience. As well the prior owner had it set up really nice w/ the doors, spacers, led lights, roof, winch, 1/4 windshield.
We have only added the rear window and just added the PCI radio / intercom.
Fast forward, motorhome replaced the toy hauler, RZR Pro replaced the Pioneer, the little RZR remains.

So far we are at 3 drama free years of rough, rocky AZ back country exploring. The little RZR has gone everywhere the big ones have gone.
You pick different lines and yes the bottom of the machine shows it...;)..

It came w/ 1" wheel spacers, which are still in place. I added a 2" High Lifter lift that gained me a measured 1 1/2". That helped immensely.
The Carlise's it came w/ measured 23 1/2" @ 6 psi, well worn. They actually performed beyond my expectations.
We just put on Quad Boss QB 454, 27-11-12 rear, 27-9-12 front. Rear measure 25" @ 7 psi, front at 25 3/4" @ 7 psi.
All measurements taken tires installed, psi set, machine on the ground.
No rubbing, stock clutching, takes a bit more throttle but still runs 55 mph w/ one adult and works even better on the trails we prefer.

The suspension stinks, period.
It burns 6 - 8 Oz of oil per 6 - 8 hours of riding.
HAVE to keep an eye on the air box.
It can be a bit "tippy" 😁.
I really wish I would have done full skids day 1.
It will run fast enough on the asphalt to not be an impedance to traffic when going trail to trial.
Seats are actually pretty comfortable.
It is a lot of fun.
Out of our "things w/ wheels" this has been the least expensive to purchase, maintain and run.. by a looonnnggg shot.
It is the one of the most under rated, under appreciated SxS's.
The color coordinated machines were never planned .

We did pretty much the same. Except we started with the ProXP.

Picked up a ‘14 S800 loaded with accessories last year for $7200. We had no intentions to buy any time soon. But, we knew we needed a machine foe the kids to learn on, and the time to buy is when it is available.

We didn’t have quite the luck you did. I had to do a-arm bushings all around, a couple wheel bearings, and a steering rack to get it trail ready.

The best way for them to learn is seat time behind the wheel.

Soooo... we still have it, still love it. In fact I just installed the Desertcraft seat spring kit. Fiancé said they made a huge difference... for the better. I was really looking forward to getting some wheel time in it myself.... however... reasonably confident the motor is dusted.. during the 1st 2 days of vacation oil consumption jumped to 14 Oz per per 6 - 7 hours run time and it began to be extremely hard to start in the mornings and then went to no-start. Confirmed spark and fuel. Considering engine options but will perform compression and leak down tests first. I'll either update this thread or just start a new one as this progresses.

Further diagnostic work revealed a couple things:
- The interior of the engine is extremely clean...
Exhaust valve clearance is .006", Intakes... I'll source a couple of buckets.

The compression is extremely low 😄 ...
1st "hit" dry:

Final dry reading:

Did a wet test as well. This confirms rings are suspect.

For the moment it has been reassembled and parked as I have 2 smaller projects I want to complete 1st.

Timing chain guides, cams, valve buckets all look great. No scarring or concerning wear patterns.
Exhaust valve clearance measured at .006".
Intake valve clearance has no clearance. Going to do some math and research and source 2 intake buckets.

Malamute? If so they are never alot of help! Lol! Unless you are needing 3000 holes dug in your yard in various places. I miss my 3.
Husky mixed w/ ??. Both rescues. Got the multi colored one (Bailey) end of Sept '22. Watching her do so much better w/ another dog during the week after Christmas at my son's, we decided to look for a buddy for her. Went to a rescue adoption event to "look" 3 weeks ago. Did the interview / questionnaire process, went back home and got Bailey for the dog meet / greet and brought Izzy home.
This from the guy that has been saying "nothing that eats" 🤣🤣

Lol! Yea, know how that goes. 3 years ago I had the last of our animals put down, cat with diabetes, he was like 17yrs old. I had started with 3 Malamute dogs, a German Shepherd/Akita mix and 4 cats. One by one they got old and had to be put down. So I told my wife no more animals. Low and behold, a stray cat shows up a couple of winters ago, so of course me being the softy I am, I put some food out for it. Then it has 2 kittens! Before you know it they are coming in the house at night. Several months back the momma cat got sick, had to have her put down, then the female kitten got sick a couple of weeks later had to have her put down. Like to killed me! I can handle ppl dying, but my pets kill me. Anyhow now back down to 1 cat, no more f'n animals!!! Lol! A Husky mix is a very good dog, they are almost too smart for their own good. I have seena few that were shy, but most are super friendly and out going.
