So I just recently rebuild my 09 800s, replaced everything in the bottom end, rings & pistons, gaskets, and seals. After rebuilding its is dumping major amounts of oil into the air box. What could it be? Oil pressure relief valve? No oil was on plugs and it doesn’t smoke. Help please.

How are the reed valves in the valve cover? If theyre cracked or broken/missing pieces they can allow excess oil blow by.

Maybe a dumb question but did you make sure to stagger the rings during install? If not this can/will lead to excessive blow by as well.

Could be blow by pressurizing crankcase.
How many hours on engine since rebuild?
The rings may need a little more time to seat, especially if you are using synthetic oil.
