I wouldn't mind having it relocated for a few reasons: more oil capacity, bigger/better filter, and possibly cooler oil temps. An additional benefit would be less mess when changing the filter out.

Sounds like a good plan to me, hope somebody will design and make a kit.

Wouldnt this really mess with your pressure?
I really like the idea however and may have to buy one. I have a PVR adjuster however so I should be able to compensate for any pressure change.

I may of found one - Summit Racing universal. Ordered it, will have it in by wed of this week. I think it will work and NO it does not affect the pressure. I've installed them on some of my past hot rods and pressure holds steady. The system will hold more oil, bigger filter. The Summit kit has PLENTY of oil hose to re-locate this filter. Right down my alley and not $280 bucks !!

Hold tight :shhh:and IF it fits I'll provide a write-up. Along with this mod will be a DIY dipstick relocate, using the stocker and nothing else.

The Summit Racing universal OF relocation kit came in. Decent kit for <$50. I thought I had it but it is 1/4" too big in diameter. The pedestal adapter is 3" OD and the RZR has 2-3/4" diameter room. No problem though - on to plan "B". I still need this kit to complete my install, just need to make a RZR pedestal adapter. And it may be easier than you think. I will report back on what I do to complete this install....and it's going to be done for less than $75 bucks total !!

Today was not a total loss though. Remember I said that I'll relocate my dipstick while I'm at it - well that worked out better than my expectations - see the " Dipstick relocate" thread.
