Been wanting to weigh the RZRs to fine tune the suspension and the tire pressures. I got some cheap 42 dollar Amazon shipping scales for the task. There are some very nice professional race kits out there, but for my situation now, the cheap scales are more than adequate. You can use a bathroom scale. The way my luck goes I figured I would break that and have to buy another scale anyway, hence the cheap shipping scales. There is no rocket science to it, my one thing I will do different next time is use a ratchet strap and go from the wheels to the rollbar. The arc of the suspension movement wants to make the scales slide on the floor. It messed up the rubber feet on the scales and may have affected the reading since the scale were not as level as they could have been. I think the ratchet straps will help keep the tires from swinging through the arc and just go strait up and down ( that may be common knowledge, I've never heard it mentioned though
).
I was surprised at how even the weight distribution is. This was no driver or passenger and about a half tank of fuel. Next time it will be trail ready and fully loaded.
