Has anybody installed a QUIET muffler on their XP? I saw a posting on here not long ago that showed an XP pic from the rear with non stock exhaust pipe sticking out. A follow-up post asked what kind of muffler that was, and the response IIRC was that it was a friends XP and that he had installed a car muffler on it. I've been trying to locate that original posting so I can do a follow up on it but have been unsuccessful. Can anybody point me to it? I'm thinking a muffler from a small car would quiet down the XP exhaust noise quite a bit.
Once that's done, then there's the problem of the noise coming from the intake manifold. I'm thinking that running a snorkel up to the top and aiming it to the rear would help that somewhat. Any ideas or suggestions? I'm tired of having to wear ear plugs every time I head out in my 'beast'. :drive1:
