There stereo features:

160 watts

I think it has an enterface for an Ipod but you have to buy an extra cord to use it. I wish I would have taken a picture sitting in it but forgot when I was at the dealer. It is much like our fuse block Extreme Metal Products, LLC which is fine for me and I am 5'11" tall.

I have their 4 switch panel/fuse block setup. I am 6'5" and it doesn't bother me too much in its location.

It WILL work with power steering. Dunno about amp...

someone needs to do a write up on this. Where is the USB connection? Does the USB connection work with Ipod. How does this unit sound when hooked up to some decent speakers. Does it have a preamp out to hook to an external amp and sub? How many amps will the switches handle?

I love the idea but simply too many questions.

Hi,

I have a semi-technical question about the MP3 operation. When listening to MP3's does the song title display? When changing folders, does the folder name display? IE, changing thru folders shows Staind, Pearl Jam, Oak Ridge Boys, Yani... Ok, not Yani but you get the idea. The units online owner manual gave no indication.

I also would like to see some pictures of a tall person's knee's in relation to the radio. I am 6'1" but have overly long legs for my pudgy upper body.

I will be ordering one if this radio displays the cut and folder names. My current ultra-cheap mp3 player doesn't show any info and you have to know what cut number you want to play.

Also, are they in stock?

Thanks,

I just ordered this kit, you will need to call them instead of ordering on line, at least for now. The website has it priced at $299.99. They honored the $249 price and gave me the additional 10% forum discount. Hope this stereo is as cool as it looks.

It is pretty good for the size.

My speaker setup is an overhead speaker unit that is too close to my head for good sound. I have both a windshield and back window on my XP so have limited options for decent speakers.

I have an external short whip mounted out on the left front fender that works OK for it's size. I mostly play MP3's from the USB stick.

With good speakers it will do a good job.
