look how quick POLARIS came up with stage 2 kit when maverick was released with more horses than 900 . shows POLARIS intends to not take back seat imo .
now that 60 inch maverick is going to be huge threat on east coast and canada .

the Maverick is no threat to anything, I spent a day on one, and for the east, it is a lumbering beast that is too big for our hillclimbing tight stuff, and 3 wheel drive shit is just not cutting it, QE diff my butt. quick engagement to me means 4 wheel drive, I really was dissapointed in it, based on about 65 miles of riding in tennessee, I would never own one. Maybe in the desert they are better? motor does not make up for the things it is lacking for us.

they do not impress me neither but i do see them starting to grow a following and more of them on the trails .
think POLARIS will unveil a new top gun model PLUS something completely different .
maybe game changer concept model ?

I too believe that they are not going to be left behind in the big bore shootout that is happening. For us in the Midwest, I just don't see the need for "more power". I get it if you're out west...but there's a LOT of machines sold else where too.

My gut says you'll just see a new version of the XP and I think you'll see the standard Ranger line see the new XP chassis in more models...but for us RZR guys...my bet is a new model with a big motor and those of us that want 50 and 60 inch models are going to have to wait another year for new plastics and motors.

Just my two cents worth.

They are coming out with a 60" model with power steering and quick engaging visco lock. They're calling it the xxc. I agree with every statement you made about the original though.

I think they have something new coming, not sure when though ,A few months back we were supposed to be part of the "market survey" test ride at Hidden falls adventure park in Texas, our day got cancelled because one of the "moderators" couldnt be there that day, they still paid us $100

as far as a drag race, no an 800 isnt going to compete, but hill climbing, obstacle courses, rally raid....those disciplines all say different...HP is nothing without a good driver, and a machine has to hold together to finish, the QE diff is marginally better than the non QE still does not engage like a Polaris 4wd system. 60 inch...Maverick....I see alot of them flipping over, they are top heavy now, narrowing them will make that worse. Center of gravity is much higher on these machines.

You know Polaris owns one of everything ever built on earth, maybe 3-4 of the true competition. They are going to give us what we want, and soon!
I don't see can am with a dealer network that can rival Polaris. If you have never driven, or ridden in a 2012 commander xt, go do it. My best friend just got one, and I am here to tell you the gear and drive train noise is sickening. You cannot hold a conversation without yelling. It is a lead sled. And the mav ain't much better. Hold tight, Polaris will excite!

the way I see it the minute that 101 hp 60 inch was announced it changed the game 55 hp is yesterdays news .
It might change it for some people, but after driving one that was 64 inches, no way I want one narrower...Drive one and see if you don't agree. In the dunes? yeah it will be great, in the woods, no thanks. to each his own, I just did not care for it, and I really wanted to like it, I was thinking about trading my xp4 in for one, no way no how now, not happening.
