When your Polaris RZR belt breaks, pieces of the belt cord can get wrapped around your crankshaft seal located behind your primary clutch. This can destroy your crank seal causing an oil leak. The crank seal is flanged in the cased and the correct way to replace it is to pull the engine and split the cases (BIG $$$$$). With this Black Rhino Performance billet seal protector you stand a much better chance of this not happening in the event of a broken belt.
