Purchaased my new 2016 HL over the weekend and drove it around the block few times and noticed a lot of smoke once it got warmed up. Im assuming this is normal and just burning off the new?

White smoke isn't from oil. It's from water, coolant or possibly fuel. Do you see anything leaking when it's parked? Next time you see the smoke give it a sniff. If it smells a little sweet, it's likely coolant. If it smells strongly of gas, it's likely a fuel issue. If it doesn't smell like anything it's probably a condensation issue.

I have not seen any leaks of any kind. I did notice a slight smell of gas when looking everything over and it seems like it was coming from the area of the fuel vent line which I secured a little bit better than what it was

How did they run your fuel vent line?
