its a 2008 800 was running when I parked it then went to restart and got nothing checked everything and found out no fire not even power to the coil anyone have any ideals thanks

I take it the fuel pump is working then. If not you need to check the 15 amp EFI fuse. It provides power to the ignition coil. The coils should have power to them all the time. The ECU grounds the coils as needed. There is a connector on the drivers side down by where the shift arm goes into the transmission. This is the connector for the CPS Crank Position Sensor. reseat that connector and see what happens.
That is the way I took it. The same 12 volts is provided to the fuel pump and ignition coils. It is provided by the same 15 amp EFI fuse. That is why I asked if the fuel pump is working. The CPS will effect the spark. Let us know.
ok I disconnected the cps and reseated no change. to check the fuel pump I disconnected the main line going it the injectors it has a green clip. I had fuel coming out when I turned the key on. But I think it should be under some pressure when then key was on it just flowed out. Like a garden hose with no end on it. It just ran out ?
It should have 40 PSI. If you have been cranking in the machine that battery may need charged. These machines are voltage sensitive. When cranking the engine monitor the battery voltage. Make sure the battery connections are clean and tight. Check the ground. Try jump starting and see what happens.
No snow here yet. Again try charging the battery or jump the battery to a good battery or vehicle. What happens is the battery may not have enough left for the ignition. Keep in mind that when you go to start the vehicle power is being consumed by the tail lights, brake lights, starter, fuel pump and what is left is for the ignition. Let me know.
You should hear the fuel inj pump running when the key is turned to the start position, with brake on. If it is turning over, just will not crank it is either no spark or no fuel. Charge battery, as NOOSV said and make sure exhaust isn't clogged up and fuel vent line isn't clogged. If it isn't doing anything, check brake switch and solenoid.
I charged the battery turns over fine i'm gonna check the stator later on today if I have time I'll check fuel vent too. Jenic what solenoid are you talking about. Also thank you guys for all the help
We started out not having any spark. How was it determined that there was no spark? When you said you reseated the CPS connector was it the big one? There are 2 located in that same are. At this point I'm that sure what is working and what is not.
Try reseating the ECU connector. Disconnect the battery before doing it. Also there is a single bolt I believe that holds the coils. Loosen that bolt, move the coils around and tighten the bolt back down. That is the ground for the coils.
noose we got about 4 inches but that wasn't the problem the wind was as soon as you plowed we had to do it again and boy was it cold. anyway did everything except the coils and still nothing. I did start taking the cover to the magneto and the bolts are rusty
Start with the coil bolt. The mag is an alternator for charging your battery. Have you checked the spark plug wires? On the primary side of the coil you should have .4 OHMS between pins 1&2 and between pins 2&3. The spark plug wires should measure 2.3K OHMS. Again make sure the coil retaining bolt connection is clean and tighten. I would loosen it and retighten. Better yet remove and reinstall.
