Hey I have been riding my RZR for five +years and I treat its like a rental and it's seems to always be running great does anyone else have this problem

I think you and I must have different ideas about how we treat rentals.

I have only ever rented two machines. Both had cameras installed, and I was on the hook to pay for any damages incurred while in my possession. So I treated my rentals with kid gloves.

While I don’t beat on my rzr like a red headed step-child, I do not worry about damage to it the way I did with the rentals I was using.

I've had the same 'problem' with my 23. 3220 miles the first 6-7 months and only factory equipment issue was clutch locking like its doing 70mph. Weight flopped and wedged. Just a few weeks out of warranty. For some, that could be a big deal, but it was a learning experience, this being my first "fun" machine. Never worked on clutches on these before, beyond installing them on new machines on an assembly line.

Upgrades, though... 180° different story. Finished SATV hard upper doors install a few days ago, weather stripped the many gaps yesterday. And my disco lights installed yesterday only flicker. I'll go back to that on a warmer day, since the shop has 3 tractors in pieces, I'm working in a old cold cow barn with no power..

I've only been riding my Pro R for a year. Its a good machine other than the self inflicted driver errors. It is well engineered to a point, but there are some choices Polaris made that could have been better. Corners were minimally cut, but the welds, bracing, A arms, and most components seem to be more robust than some RZRs.

For the price it should have come with road going fundamentals like signals, horn, etc. Or at least a kit. And a larger fuel tank, but at around 800 miles its been reliable and a ton of fun!

Wish it had the Maverick R 7 speed DCT transmission. I dislike belts.

Huh?
It is an OFF ROAD vehicle. It is not meant to be driven on the road. Yes, you can modify it for road use, but that is not its purpose. It’s the same reason why a Honda Civic doesn’t come with a lift kit and mudtires as an option.

I hear the can am dealers take trade ins. I don’t know why you bought something you dislike.

Same. Pinstripes and rim rash are just part of the fun. :)

Mine did from the dealer.

Started in 2011 with a 500 EFI Ranger, 6000+ miles
2010 RZR 800 S, 13000+ milles
2015 RZR 900S, 8500+ miles
2018 RZR XP1000 TRE, 20,000 + miles
No major issues, although the ‘15 900S ran hot all the time…..especially here in sunny AZ. That is why it went away at only 8500 miles
