Getting a pack together for my new ride. What are your must have items? I'm thinking tools, plug kit, maybe a first aid kit? Also if you get a flat tire, how do you air it back up? Small on board compressor? Or maybe a bicycle type pump? All ideas welcome. -Mike

I have to be careful or I will put to much stuff in.

When there is 2 or more of us we just carry 1 spare tire get out kit (tree straps, snatch blocks, extra synrope with winch), tools, food water firstaid tarp for cover/rain rain gear maps GPS phone RF radio belt flare and nylon rope.

Here is a new item I just picked up from Black Rhino. Its a battery booster, jump starter and charger. This whole kit is so small it will fit in the RZR glove box and you will still have room for other stuff. The actual power supply is about the size of the iPhone 6.

I'm planning another Baja trip this September with the UTV's and one of the biggest things we learned on last years trip was we have to minimize what we carried, as we dont have the room we have when I used the big prerunners. I hope to not need this, but if I do we will be prepared and in Baja you better be prepared. The idea of not having to carry a big set of jumper cables alone is a huge space saver. I also like the idea that I can charge a phone or GoPro with it.

Hi all this subject comes up a lot lately on the forum ,So as requested I have made a sticky thread for our members to find and use .

I carry a lot of supplies ,But I can be 60 + miles out in the desert ,Or back mountain trails without cell service ,And have 20 + Rzr Forum members with me . In 4 years and thousands of miles ,we have never left a machine or a member in the Mountains or the desert .You all should decide where and how you ride ,And make your own choice's on what you need to be able to get you home safely .

Spot locator's are great devices ,but search and rescue personal will not recover your machine just your person .
