I am in Illinois. When I ride Wisconsin trails I just buy trail pass. I want to ride in Michigan. So bought the pass which also requires license. Does the license need to be mounted to a plate? What exactly is the process?

You need a ORV and ORV trail permit just needs to be visible.

Mounted on the rear of the machine and visible. You can stick it on anything permanent so it can't be taken off and used on another machine etc. Tip, the one you get through mail order DOES NOT stick well on plastics so clean it well. I stick mine in the back glass (poly).

No license plate in Michigan like Wisconsin...
