I used the same stuff and was running into the same problem. So I just started using Pledge, seems to work as good if not better, especially on the windshield.

Humm, I may have to try that! Does it dry like the SC1? That's part of what I like about it, I can spray it on and then leave it because it dries.

 

No, I always wipe it down real good. If you have any scratches on the windshield, they almost disappear. If you don't wipe it down, then the dust will collect on it really bad. But for the price it's worth a little elbow grease!

 

It sure works well for hiding the riding scratches especially on the red plastics. My son's 170 looks like new every time I apply the pledge.:clap:

 

I actually love the SC1 on the black plastics, like the fenders and bed. Makes them look like brand new again! I'll have to try the pledge and see if that works also. You would think a good product like SC1 would be easier to come by then buying from the factory and paying through the nose....

 

It works great on the black plastics, the only problem is when the wife asks what happened to her furniture polish! :shhh:
