The 50" people are the ones having the issue with the triangle piece. Not the same as a 1000, 900S, or 900 XC.

I agree and when the retail is 349 i dont feel i should have to be trimming and making mods to have a piece fit right!! Not what was expected of a polaris accessory.
And today my local dealer says 3 qts of po po oil and a filter is 48 dollars!

Anyone else have problems with the triangle pieces in the polaris lower door kit? I picked up the kit for my 900S and those pieces fit like crap. I'm not sure if I want to bitch to the dealer or start cutting them up.

I have the kit and just put it on how it was... The triangle piece isn't perfect but it's fine.

I e mailed polaris. Got the standard answer of these are the correct parts.
I have not taken detailed pics to show the dealer or regional manager. Some are willing to modify thiers. I am not. Polaris products are supposed to fit right on. These dont at all for my trail.
I intend to persue it further. Will post updates.

Tried installing my Polaris lowers today. Triangle piece was ok but it's the lowers I can't get to work right. It's almost like they are a tad too long. I can get it where the back edge is right but the front edge hits the body not allowing the door to shut. Tried adjusting the door but no luck. Got to a flustration level of just giving up lol.

There is some . adjustment on the plastic panel it's self that comes pre mounted. I had to adjust that and the door latch its self.

Did you make any progress with polaris on this? I love my lower doors, but that upper piece fits so poorly it's ridiculous. Too expensive to accept. Mine are getting returned just out of principle if polaris hasn't come up with a solution for it.

Another option I'm considering is to just get a refund on the upper pieces and run without it. It has a separate part number, so it should be refundable separately. Just the upper pieces retail for over $160, which I think is overpriced even it it fit well:rm_thumbdown:

I got a refund on the uppers. I am going to find a company that took the time to ensure they fit correctly.

Found this thread looking for a replacement part # for the upper triangle... the comments about the fit are spot on. From what I can tell the kit must have been tweaked as the instructions I got talk about a milled aluminum J clip, while the ones in the kit are plastic/nylon. The issue with the upper mount (and all of them really) is the screw are too short... that's why they are stripping. I got some new screws 1/4 inch longer and everything is much tighter.

But, somehow my left triangle exploded today (?) or sometime... I must have brushed a tree and it flexed about to break. No price on Polaris site but others it seems to be about $80. Wow...
