75-7800 roughly. Also couldn’t figure out how to upload a video of it.

 

Your positive it's not belt slip? Acts like it just quits pulling??

 

It does quit pulling, rpms start dropping even if I keep my foot in it, and I can hear the air escaping as well pretty obviously.

 

I would start by putting stock BOV back in and try it... Something is letting air out above a certain PSI

 

It’s the evo BOV and I adjusted it with no change, and the air release sounds different than the BOV which is what makes me think it’s the wastegate on the turbo. Also more pronounced when the little plastic access door is removed between the rear seats.

 

Did you put the small plug in the charge tube vacuum port?

I have the 19 and it does the same thing Ive asked Polaris and they dont seem to have an idea. I even bought a new air filter thinking It was restricting air flow and maybe collapsing the flimsy rubber air line to the filter? Still having the problem brother inlaw has the 1000 Turbo and his does the same thing.

 

By the way both are completely stock.

Are you positive there is not a hole in the charge tube that opens up at a certain pressure?

 

Check you air intake tube mine would collapse when I was at high rpms

 

If you can't find anything obvious, do a proper boost leak test. I don't have a video of doing one on a RZR (maybe I'll make one), but here is the gist of what you should do: https://jaztuning.com/blog/f/how-to-boost-leak-test-at-home

I'd run it up to 23-24 PSI to ensure you don't have a leak opening up a higher pressures.


After that, you move to checking the wastegate actuator, EBCS, BPV, and take logs (verify that intake is not collapsing, like what was said above).

I would also check the banjo bolt on the turbo boost reference line. Mine came out and I had a similar issues.

No.. going through the troubleshooting now out here at UTV takeover in Utah and can’t ride

 

I figured out my problem at least… the pre filter breather hose was collapsing under high rpm.

we removed the hose and I have 0 issues

 

Shoot, I guess I read your initial post wrong, I was going to ask, but I thought I had read you swapped these all out with silicone. Glad you found the issue, now on to a fix.

 

I swapped the boost tubes but not this particular intake tube. But this isn’t my thread, I just happened to have the same issues as the OP.

I promise I'm only slow once in a while. 60% of the time, I'm slow every time.

 

I have a 2020 pro xp, and mine is having this exact same issue right now. Bought the car with the Evo stage 3 kit (exhaust, charge tube, BOV ) it ran phenomenal. I recently replaced the j tube with an after market, also installed a larger dynojet air filter, and found only at WOT it loses power. But when I let off and hit it again it has all the power for a seccond then loses it again. If I stay at 3/4-7/8 throttle it runs great, as soon as I go WOT it happens again, like clock work. I am going to take off the intake tube and run it down the road and see if it fixed the issue, I will update this thread after. Seems like a plausible solution, trying to suck in more air then the crappy stock tube can handle.

 

I wrapped mine with electrical tape(looks ok since its black on black) works till it pulls free then ill just reapply

 

That solves the issue then? Do you have a particle seperator on yours?
