Looking for a good Zilla Review

I'm looking for a good review of the Zilla tires. I did a search on the forum and found a lot of info but didn't see a true review. I found some doing a google search but they are all from people who don't have RZRs. Anyway the ground up here in Upper MI is mostly a half inch of soil covering sand and gravel which leads to trail conditions that are mostly loose gravel and sand. When it rains this turns to muck in certain areas but doesn't really stay muddy long. I'm looking for a trail tire with mud charactoristics to handle the loose stuff. I'm thinking a tire like this will handle the loose dirt well and will help in the low mucky areas that I occasionally see. My concern is, the trails I ride also can have periods of hard pack and even a few miles on the pavement. The tires I'm running now are the stock ITPs that came with my S. So my questions are

Overall feeling on the Zilla?

Am I correct in thinking this style of tire would be good for my sandy terrain?

how much handling do you give up on hardpack with this type of tire?

How much do they wear on the pavement?

Oh I guess I should mention, we get a little snow around here as well :) Are these tires good in the snow?

Thanks in advance

John

You will like em! One of my bud's run them and they are really wearing well, awesome in the wet stuff and I drove his rig on some hard, rocky trails and they hooked and did great. Now to see just how long they last. I am going to try a set next time around, as I like how light they are for the sizes.

Im running the 28 zillas, they are great on the hard trails and mud. which is what i mainly do. Not to mention they are light in weight. I dont think they are that great in sand, especially thick wet sand. dig straight down and bury you, like a typical mud tire. soft rubber so the sidewall will cut easy. watch big rocks. If you ride alot of pavement the will wear unevenly. For what you described i think you will like the tires. goood luck.

Ran 27's on my RZR for two years. Live in northern MN so they saw a mix of all terrain/seasonal riding and performed/wore very well. Great tire IMO.
