I am on the Fence on which LED whip to get. I had Tribal Whips on my Rhino and really liked them. My buddy has Safeglow Whips and they are really bright. Not sure yet which way to go. I know that Tribal is here in Vegas. I did have one problem with the lights. The seal broke and all the liquid inside came out. I have not had a chance to take it to Tribal so they can look at it.

I had the same thing with my tribal. I have 2 of them that leaked all over my car. I moved over to quicklight because of the life time warranty and the only working part is mounted on the car. The quick disconnect part is great.
Ya my Tribal leaked out of 1 whip after a couple of dune seasons. The other one was perfect still.
Didn't even have the receipt, and Russ sent me 2 brand new whips.
IIRR, he said something at the bottom of the whip was updated so that wouldn't happen again. That was a couple years ago. So far no problem at all with the new ones. The new whips are brighter than the old ones. They are so bright they light up the whole area, no need for a dome light... lol.
Have to get around to turning the old whip into a TH locating pole for nights.

I wpuld stay away from safeglow because their customer service sucks. Go with Tribal or the other one. My 2¢

Love my tribal whips to they took a hard roll over that bent the tabs bad and the whip work still work great and no leaks.

You'll probably like the new pin clips that come with the newer whips. IMO, an improvement over the ones you had on your older Tribal whips. And the new whips, are brighter.

I meet the guys at Tribal at the Vegas 2 Reno tech party. Talked with them for a good half hour, and they gave my daughter and I some water. They were really nice, made me glad i had bought Tribal whips from them earlier in the year.
i personally preferr the "glowwips" from glowwhips. com they have super bright fiber optic lights their flexable as hell and have a sweet warranty. their not to bad on price either, I had the led lights did not last to long with me. I have the quick disconnect mount and billet holder for the rzr
Well I met Russ today at his shop. A real straight up guy. Minor miscommunication between us. No problems at all. Like I said before, I really like his lights. As a matter of fact, I was able to pick them up before they went out in the mail. I also ordered a set of 6' reds for a buddy of mine.
Made my own:
whip with flag (the thicker, sturdier whip) $12 bucks
16' LED 5050 RGB + 44 key controller $27 (got plenty of LED left over, think I'll make a couple small interior lights.)
1" clear shrink wrap tubing $10
Bright as shit, we can use it for a rave if need be. Works just as good....nothing to leak out. If it breaks I'm not out $100 plus. Search youtube if interested, made mine the pretty much the same. And its fun to build stuff.

I have 2 4' safe glo whips. I have never broken the tube, but I do have to say the mount sucks monkey balls. I wish there was a quick release as Tribal uses instead of the screw type mounting base. Next time mine break, I'll be switching to Tribal without a doubt.
