Does anyone know where I can get LEDs for a whip that have the "chasing" mode featured in this video about 30 seconds in? I'm okay purchasing a finished whip or doing DIY.

The problem with chasing led lights is they are more delicate than your typical led strip light, they have a processor every so many inches which makes it harder to wrap & any impact hit will kill the light. We have made several different designs of this whip and our latest has been working out great for the last 6 months or so. You may have seen them @ Sand mtn or Glamis. We plan on releasing them early 2015, just making sure they are dialed. For the diy guys if you plan on just wrapping the led's around a fiberglass pole they will not last very long, Ive seen a couple companies making theirs that way & expect they will have a bunch of warranty issues & unhappy customers.

Edit---

If you are concerned about the wrap around the fiberglass rods, I've have done 65 mph with these bad boys. And yes, just as SickStick has indicated, if you hit something you may damage a circuit.

All I have to say about this and you can follow the the above thread, is that, why and I say why, would anyone would want to use something like this to ride in narrow trails, and again that's just my opinion.
I mount them for the looks and for show, not to do any crazy trail rides. I am making some 4 footers for that though and this time I will have them inside some polycarbonate tubing.

I have been to the dunes several times and there's no branches that would interfere with the use of these whips. Where I ride at night the trails and roads are pretty wide and my whips are mounted where it says "flag" on my Rzr, so they stand pretty centered and I don't have to bother looking back, they are worry free for me.

I will post some pics in a few.
