So… I ordered a new factory subassembly for my trans from @Hardline UTV (highly recommend) and SFK bearing kit for the trans.

Question… the subassembly pinion came pre-assembled and it has a KOYO bearing, should I leave the KOYO bearing or switch it out?

I’ve been reading in other forums like the machinest and t56 and they all swear by the KOYO bearing over the SKF bearings. Just trying to see if that’s the same case here.

I've worked for the company that makes Koyo bearings for 15 years as an engineer, although not in the ball bearing stuff... Koyo and SKF are highly competitive with each other and have identical quality.
