I have the full overhead kicker system and sub from Dunertunes and it freaking rocks. Well worth the money.

 

That's a different kit tho right? I saw two guys with those last weekend and they do sound pretty awesome.

 

Its is, but it uses the ssv sub box and overhead 6x9 speaker enclosure. I am very happy with it. I think it sounds awesome.

I have the standard SSV speakers and my system kicks ass! I am über pleased with it!

 

They only distort if I tweak the MP3 levels and artificially increase the levels. I was on the fence too, until I sat in the Axia Alloy XP4 at Dunefest and listened to his....all standard SSV speakers. It sounded amazing. I'm sure the kicker upgrade is even better, but the standard SSV setup is super loud and very clean.

I agree with Jeff, standard SSV speakers sound good to me too.
