I found my answer. Ive read all over the interwebs that the bus bar under the hood has no power from the factory and you need to run a power and ground wire to it to make it work so I never tested it. I just tested mine and it has an orange w/ white trace wire attached to ACC and it is a keyed power.

 

Correct that acc is the only one they factory wire for whatever reason, it kicks on when the key is turned and will stay on 20 seconds or so after it goes off

I think I read that you can hook up to a 10 amp draw on keyed wire.

 

Good deal, I was about ready to ask this question as I need keyed power for my winch and wireless control box also. I checked this lug earlier and after I turned key off it still had power so I figured that it wasn't a good one to use. I just went out and checked it and waited and heard a relay click and the voltage was gone.

There is a second option, the acc plug on the dash is switched controlled source, it is also fused at 10amp and instantly on and off with the key.

 

I used the ACC wire to operate a relay that is rated for 30A. That way you do not overload that circuit.
