I had to slightly trim one of my lower door pieces so it didn’t catch the door jamb. I actually kinda assumed it was my door adjustments that caused the clearance issues not the kemimoto pieces.

Also regardless if you chose to use the provided push lock hardware or try better quality ones I’ve ultimately found that the best way to secure them is to thru bolt them with nuts and bolts. The plastic push locks just pop out when you slam the doors…….

The refund offer is kinda a joke though. Me I’d take the $30 and buy some stainless hardware and a good jigsaw blade to make em fit. . Best of luck.

Yeah I purchased a few things from them and have mixed feelings on them. I'm not a fan of their door bags as they just don't fit well and I will be replacing them with another set from somewhere else. Their front camera works well and the rear mesh window doesn't fit to terribly bad and has held up pretty well so far. I've read a lot of bad reviews on some of their products. So far i'm about 50/50 with them.

Same thing happened to my son-in-law. He looked up door bags by machine, Turbo R, the site pulled up a set of door bags and it said they were for his Turbo R but when they got in they were for the standard XP1000. My SIL reached out and got the same response. Sorry, you should have known they would not fit (even though he looked it up my machine and even had a screen shot showing this) and an offer for a partial refund and a recommendation to sell them to a friend. Looks like a canned email response.

Honestly with your experience matching my SIL I am not sending people their way anymore.

So correct me if I'm wrong. Kemimoto's site stated it wouldn't fit your 4-seater? You bought it anyway only to find out it didn't fit? You flamed them on the forum for not responding soon enough? And, now they're saying you can have a full refund? If that's the case, I think I would've fallen on the sword and been thankful they're willing to refund.

But, I'm not throwing stones. I recently bought some center caps off ebay despite that their site clearly stated they would not fit my 2020 TRE. But, it did state they'd fit the 2017-2019 TRE. So, I bought them anyways knowing the wheels were the same. They didn't fit my 2020. Then, I tried them on my son's 2019 TRE. They didn't fit his either. I got a full refund minus return shipping. I started to argue over the shipping cost. But instead, I just asked them to correct their site.

Here are more details on my son-in-law's experiance.

He ordered a set of door bags for his Turbo R.

When they came in they did not fit, so he called Kemimoto to look into a return. He was told they were a special order and he could not return them.

So he tried through email:

He also sent this

Kemimote never would take the bags back, they did do a $25 refund. I paid my son-in-law for the balance since I sent him to them.

I was not a big customer, but I had had good experiences with several purchases but I will not be recommending them any more.

Wow. This thread went all Twilight Zone kinds of sideways with an added side of WTF?

Halfway through page one @Kemimoto called him, @Glock10mm out with screen shots of their exchange. MHO, yep 10mm overacted and things were smoothed out. Those posts are gone with an edit of........

and now a different name/individual?

They definitely didn't call me out, and it wasn't an overreaction, I got told I could return the product, then never got a shipping label, so it would have been at my expense, then got told I could get a $30 refund and keep the garbage, then after I raise hell I get told I can get my money back and keep the product, I think If they would just do a no questions asked return policy without all the games they would probably not have people so fuming mad. Ultimately I'm supposed to be getting a refund and the box of junk got thrown in the trash and I dont have to deal with shipping it back, so in the end they 100% took care of me and I'm happy, I could have done without the games and excessive emails, and frustration, they definitely need to rewrite some policies for sure, and quit offering people half ass refunds, I don't ever have costco offering me $25 dollars back on a $100 dollar purchase and have the manager encouraging me to keep a product that doesn't fit 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ok, clarifying. Cody did receive a refund from a JT Information, Googled as Japan Tobacco, for the $76.49 on January 9th. He did not recognize it and though it we was a scam.

He never got an email about a refund and just got one today from Kemimoto and didn't have a way to tie the two together until now.
