i have a 2016 turbo and had the clutch update done and now when i let rzr cost downhill the clutch makes a weird winding noise. if i accelerate while going down the same hill the weird noise goes away. it didnt sound like this before the update. is this normal because of the update or is something wrong.

so since its hard to describe the noise im wondering if anyone else noticed a change in the way clutch sounds coasting downhill?

see video below, some of the hills i coasted down and sometimes i kept some throttle in it so i didnt have to here the noise.

the metal on metal clicking when shifting was the emp gated speed shifte

Sounds like a typical rzr clutch to me. I wouldn't be worried.

never noticed this noise before the update, maybe it was there I don't know for sure. Just sucks having to listen to it everytime I coast down a hill. at 1:30 in the video you can here it the best.

My 900s clutch was super noisy like this. Did a couple thousand miles with it. I can't recall my xpt4 doing this but I've only ridden it once, and that was after the update.

They put the new spider in mine. I brought it home and you couldn't shift gears because the input shaft on the rear diff was turning constantly. Had to take it back. They ended up replacing the entire clutch and bearings

I think I figured my noise out. I had the dealer move some weights around since they had clutch apart and the that made the clutch grip the belt different at lower rpms. I moved the weight back to the way they were before and the noise disappeared.
