I am wondering if anyone uses green slime or anything else in their tires?

Sometimes, it's the only option. A lot of guys will scream and holler that it rots the rims. The only time I have ever witness that happening, is when the rim was already starting to corrode. I have used t on dozens of tires, and in nearly every case, it took care of the issue permanently!

Agreed. There are some cases of bead leaks, micro-pinholes etc. that give you three choices. Tube it, (bad idea overall) slime it or replace the tire. And sometimes the rim.
We all generally run low speeds, so balancing is really never an issue. $10 will tell you if the product will do what you are looking for. Stop the leak.

I make my own. 1 quart of antifreeze to 1 tube of the powdered alumaseal. Best i have ever used as it don't freeze and clump causing balance problems Won't corrode your wheels as antifreeze is made for aluminum engines and aluminum engine components and unlike slime it easily washes with just a water hose when it comes time to dismount the tire from the wheel.

I have heard some people very adamant about the green slime corroding the aluminum ... there are other options that apparently do not.

I think it was someone from Xtreme Tire that suggested using Sta-Flo laundry starch ... very cheap and I tried it in one of my quad tires that kept leaking at the bead. Worked great, no more leak. Not sure if it stays liquid or dries out though.

I've had good luck with the High Lifter tire sealant. I got a pretty good size pinch flat on my Yamaha Grizzly one day and it allowed me to finish the day with no plugs. I ended up replacing the tire for what it's worth. Everyone that was with me that day was impressed that I was able to finish the ride which was not short with no plugs.

I used green slime in the tires my '01 Honda Foreman, '06 Suzuki Kingquad, '10 rzr 800, '13 rzr 900 and now my '14 XP1K. Have always had good luck with it. I ride in pastures with alot of wild plum bushes, shinnery, and other types of brush here in the panhandle area of Texas. The slime seals the small leaks. The large holes caused by the stobs from mowed brush sometimes have to be plugged.

We use SLIME in every tire we use in Baja when racing SCORE. We absolutely love it. In 2012 we finished the Baja 1000 with the same tires we started the race with. There were several punctures that the SLIME sealed and allowed us to continue racing. Proud to have them as a sponsor.
