Recently bought an Ipad mini 4 and tried pairing it with my ride command but no dice. Ride command doesn't recognize it and the ipad doesn't recognize the ride command. I have had no issues pairing my s8, iphone or gopro hero 5. Also I was able to pair the ipad to the PIDD on my sled without issue but theres no way it will connect to the ride command. Is it possible that it will only connect to a phone? Has anyone successfully paired an ipad to ride command?

Crap, I was hoping to have all of my music in the ipad so I wouldn't have to mess with my phone as much. Oh well....
I’m currently have the issue with an Air 2 and my 2022 XP Pro Ultimate. My iPhone 12 connects in second, but the iPad sees the ride command and connects to it, but the ride command keeps looking like the link never happened. Call Polaris and they had me do updates on ride command. I guess Polaris doesn’t go in alphanumerical order with their updates. One the came on it didn’t match last 3 on Polaris site even thought it was a higher number sequence. iPad is at 15.5 and RC is on ORS7A9.R62125A. I know it has nothing to do with it, but I just updated map data with fresh base and it still shows it as 4/24/2020. Trails are current tho. Told. To take it to dealer. So we shall see since I have yet to find a dealer that doesn’t stumble even though the specialist I spoke 2 twice claims they are trained. Trained to sell it and turn it on maybe lol
