I am looking for the best way to install a drain in the CVT housing. I have read about drilling a hole in the bottom and putting in a marine plug. The other way was to replace one of the retaining bolts with a screw-in tire valve. Any input on which one is better or other ideas. I ride through alot of water so any thoughts on sealing the housing better are welcome. I have a 2013 RZR 800S

I drilled a hole in the lowest part of the cover, then put in a short valve stem with the guts taken out. I have not gotten my belt wet since I've done it so I have not had to try it out.
Be careful if you install a marine plug. There is not a lot of clearance inside the cover and you don't want the plug to bang against your clutch or shred your belt.
