there are many many posts on this subject. You can read for hours about batteries for rzr's. I myself just put it a wal-mart special. I don't know how long it will last but i'm willing to give it a try. you'll find the most popular on here will be the Odyssey or the Optima. I believe the odyssey fits in the stock battery box and the optima needs an aftermarket battery box.

 

As for the optima and the odessy, I can't see where any battery mod is worth that kind of money out of my pocket book! Just want to put in a reasonable priced battery replacement.

 

I was kinda feeling the same way. I bought an everstart ACM from walmart. I think it was $85. I would recommend a sealed battery tho.....these things do alot of bounching around.

 

I was thinking more in the line of a larger lawn mower battery. I've been running off road bikes, atv's and more without a sealed battery for "years" without a problem and I think the RZR handles the bumps better than the atv's. JMO
Anyone try a larger lawn and garden battery? Thought perhaps it would help handle the extra lighting and winch???
