OK so i am new to this forum but i can really use some help. I went to the badlands in indiana about a month ago and i found some water nothing to serious that i thought atleast, now my rzr s is running like crap. it will barely idle when i hit the gas it falls flat on its face and then picks up but wont hit top speed. I took it to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong with it of course. so i started to take it apart myself and i pretty much know what im doing but some of the elctronics trick me. i cleaned the fuel tank, fual pump, injectors, new uni air filer, changed the plugs, made sure i have spark to both plugs, compression check, and fuel pressure test. there is plenty of oil in it as well. I tried checking all the electrical connections that i could and none of them were remotely dirty. after i put it together i started it and now its starting to smoke a little bit out of the exhaust. I have no clue what else to do. if anyone has any suggestions i wuold really appreciate it.

I'm actually not the one that did the pressure test on the fuel pump. The dealer said they did it and it came back ok but I'm sure that they didn't do it so I'm gonna have to do it myself. Anybody know were to get a good fuel pressure kit?

go to autozone.. They are free to rent just have to put down a deposit.. They return 100% of your money when you return the gauge.. I wouldn't trust the dealer lol. Test everything you can your self.. Also to.. Some times the pumps only act up when they get hot.. So let the RZR run for a while..

Did you pull the sending unit/pick-up and check the filter? Not that it would cause blue smoke, but you seem to indicate a fuel delivery issue....:rollfinger:

Is the smoke from the exhaust from water in your system or blue smoke from oil? If its water being burned, you still have some moisture some where.
That is why I say try some HEET or other water displacment product.
I agree with you if the smoke from the exhaust is moisture, but if it is blue thats a whole other story, if you know what I mean.

It never smoked until I took everything apart and cleaned it then put it back together. It's not really a blue smoke but it smells like it's burning something. I jus can't pinpoint what it is. There shouldn't be any moisture left in the fuel system cuz I took the tank out and drained it completely. I've run 3 tanks of gas through it as well after I found some water. It's not burning oil either cuz it still full from when I changed the oil. The dealer says it could be an electrical problem but still not sure

When you say, "Took everything apart"...did you mess with the TPS at all?

Or an injector?

Yes, the TPS must be set properly...do you have a manual? It's all in there.
