I am a retired 61 year old fish counter. Was let go from a job due to cut backs two years ago. Discovered ATVs this summer. Cool ride. Will be buying a Polaris 500 Sportsman or a UTV next spring. Don't know which will be best? I live in the mountains 80 miles North of Spokane Wa. Never rode the trail in the spring and summer months beautiful, just the winter months on a snowmobile.

I only started riding atv's earlier this year and just bought my RZR this past Saturday so I'm not qualified to give you any advice. But, Welcome Aboard.

Thanks for the welcome

Thanks for the welcome. Will be looking forward to info and advice from the group. Are the UTVs better handling and or more fun? Seems like driving a wheel is better than steering handlebars. It would seem you would have more control with a steering wheel. I really like roll cages. Or is it better if your on an ATV that you can jump off if you roll it.
Boy I tell you. Either one I am hooked!!!!

It will be good with handling and you could buy a power-steering,like you said in the ATV you need to jump in the roll-cage you need to stay in your place.
