How strict are they at Houston Valley on the 50" width? Is it worth going for a day of riding?

I've only been there once. If I remember correctly the gate going into the park won't allow anything bigger than 50'' to get through. The trails we rode were nice but not very challenging. I'm told there are more difficult trails there but we couldn't find them. Over all it's a nice place. I plan on going back soon.
