This RZR is the first thing I have ever had with CV joints, so I am not sure how to tell when or if there bad. Its a standard RZR stock other then tires. 600 hard miles. And I picked up a clicking noise in the right front the other day, appears 4x4 works fine, and the noise comes and goes, maybe does it more when turning. i checked the CV boot its good, and I gave it the ol yank, pull, tug, twist, test, and it appears fine. is there anyway to tell if you have a bad cv, will it even have slop in it? My buddies all tell me its the cv for sure, I was just thinking it would have some slop in it if it were bad. The wheel hub/ bearings all appear fine, and spin freely.

I tightened and checked all 4 calipers, Drove it around and seemed good, got almost all the way back to the shop and it didnt it again slightly, but not as bad as before. It seems to me the holes in the pads, are just to big for the pins, it needs some rubber bushing or something. Any idea on how to fix this. I cant get it tight enuff with the allen headed bolt to fix it. Also is there any way to tighten the bottom pin. it just has a rubber plug there??

I think I got it. I think part of the problem is the front pads might need replaced. either there to thin, or theholes are wobbled out. Either way I just ordered some EBC pads. I think its gonna solve my issue. Thanks for the help.

I had the exact same problem, occurred the same exact way yours did. Took it to the shop and there is some kind of washer upgrade to fix this problem. Mine was under warranty so it cost me nada! All the clicking stopped. Check with your polaris dealer or call Polaris to see about this fix. Maybe it is a recall by now. Many others have this exact same problem.

ok so, should there be 1 or 2 washers behind the axle nut. I took mine apart to check the wheel bearings, and there are already 2 washers. i ordered new wheel bearings, cuz there was some noise from them too, maybe sand/water in them. But I guess I better ask them about that washer update. But beeing that I already have 2 washers you would think mine has the update. i hope it done need 3 washers, that seems kind of hokie.
