I am fixing to install a summit heater. The question is, can T into the thermostat bypass for the heatercore. This is 2012 800 and has the bypass already plumbed. Has anyone done this and did this work. Thanks for any info.

No one? I guess I'll look at it again. Service manual calls it the "cylinder head bypass" , 5/8 line straight back to the return line. Wonder if this would make the cylinder head run too cool.

Yep, I know about the conventional way to hook this up. However there is a thermostat bypass adapter available for the 08-10 motors. 11 and up 800's have a bypass port on the head next to the thermostat. This is what I was wondering about and if I could T in to this.
