Re: Hawk Engineering XP Z1 DIY kit is getting started

Just a lil info about the 2013 XPs Jason, the way the transmissions bolts up to the back of the XP engines are different than the 2011 2012 XPs,maybe keep that in mind when building this kit, it would suck if it only worked on 2013 an newer and not the older models.

Why wait until you destroy it and it is worthless. Put it up for sale and then buy the Z1.

Will I need to ride something untill ur done with the kit, but I have something to ask you, do can u rebuild the z1 with aftermarket connecting rods, pistons and studs. I might upgrade the turbo, 800 with z1 runs faster than the xp z1. I want to make some extra power

I can build a Z1 to make as much HP as you want, but it gets expensive. It will make 315 HP with the stock turbo on race fuel OR you can run 92 octane with water/meth injection. That is what I am doing with my Apex.
