Did you ever get this to work, I'm trying now and not having much luck....

 

I got it to work. After comparing wiring diagrams and finding the newer 2019+ wiring to be the same. I was checking power and ground only to find that the ground had a bad pin fitment.

 

So a 7 button and the dash panel is all that is needed for the swap?

 

You need to modify the bracket and dash panel. Along with a new gps antenna

Does that mean it's possible to add the 7-Button to a unit that did not come with the 5 Button?

 

i never had ride command to start with, but i got a 7 button screen on ebay for $750 and the 5 button harness and dash kit for $400 and it all worked, you will need that doesnt come in the kit is a gps puck and the vehicle to vehicle puck, antenna adapter harness and a usb harness, and it will be all plug and play.

 

Does anyone have part# on what I need to swap my 5 to a 7 other than the screen?
