Just finished my grumpy mod and tested it out this weekend..... I rode in some SERIOUS dust on saturday...unfortunately there was not an air tight seal between the rubber edge on the fram filter and the plastic on the rzr... Quite a bit of dirt passed through, luckily none got past my main air filter. To prevent this i put a thick bead of grease between filter and plastic before my ride on sunday and this worked 100 times better.

Try a foam or rubber window/door sealant strip )Home Depot) around the plastic.
I used around my windshield and it works great.
