Hello Green Valley! Almost bought my house there last year but ended up out in Henderson.
Well, we are almost neighbors, then..........42 miles after the bridge, then about 10 miles back into the hills off US 93.

I buy motorhomes in Arizona during the summer when the market there crashes. I always wonder why anyone would want to live there. Nothing but rocks, dirt and HEAT! I'd rather be cold in the mountains:)

Well sir, I am truly sorry you can’t see what is here. The largest ponderosa pine forest in the WORLD!
Also the most mountainous state in the lower 48! And the desert has a beauty of its own, which I also love. And I grew up, and spent my whole working career in the COLD.......49 years in the oilfields of ND, MT, and WY, I had all I need.
But that is why we live in a so called ”free” country.....we can still at least choose where we want to live! So far!

I love it here in SoNev. After 55 years of Oregon and Germany weather, this is great. I'll never go back to the land of gray skies and drizzle ever again. (But in all honesty, it wasn't just the weather that drove me out of Oregon.)

2019 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth
No kidding?? Wow. I had a 74 Spider. Had no idea they were still making those. Paid $100 for mine around 2000 and drove it for a year and then sold it for $100. It was like driving a go-cart on the mountain roads of Oregon. Great fun!

I didn't either. I had always admired them as a kid in the 70's. Was out looking for a little sporty economical car for around town when I came across them. The restarted making them in 2017 and 2020 is the last year for them. I say FCA did a crappy job at advertising them. There is a hidden secret.....to them. They're only 25% Fiat! The good 25%. Made in Japan on Mazda assembly line. Styling, suspension and engine, Fiat. The rest is a Miata MX5.

Shot, with Covid shuttering the fun at the casinos, saved enough for some heat distraction myself!

It is a nice ride from my house to Temple Bar and back again. But I kind of reserve that ride for the season when they are open during the week.
