I went from a decked out 2008 Brute Force 650i that i had about $12,000 invested in to a 2010 Polaris RZR and love it.It goes through ever thing the Brute went throu and more.Dont think I would go back to normal quad.Have way to much fun on this thing.

I have a 2010 Renegade and a box in the corner that contains a 912cc big bore kit, ported head, big valves, dual springs, stage 2 cams, bored throttle body and the big intake. I can't stay out of the RZR long enough to install the kit. I still haven't given up and decided to sell the Rene but I also haven't ridden it since I bought the RZR. I think I will put the kit in and ride it but, I know it will be hard to give up my RZR for a weekend.
I have a solution for you... Assemble the big bore kit Then put the engine in the RZR!
That would be going backwards. My RZR has a turbo Weber motor already. I guess that is why I just can't keep from driving it.

Oops. Well you could ship me the engine and kit and I would put it to good use! LOL

Switched from a Yamaha atv to the rzr so I could better look after my son, he would fall asleep on the back of the Atv once in a while... I didn't like that much.. Now he has a cat nap beside me ... I can wack him one

Quads started wearing me out after 3 to 4 hours. The RZR you can ride all day and not be wore out. Plus the wife likes the SxS alot more. Do it and you wont regret it.

I too am one that went from an '02 660 Raptor to a RZR. I hurt my back on a whoopped out track and after about a year of pain I had to sell it. Now I have a RZR and never looked back. I am very pleased and like what was said before I can still keep up on the fast trail rides.

Sometimes I think of getting another sport bike but I can get quite a bit more upgrades for the price of another bike and a good chiropractor..?

Getting old sucks...

Whats all this I am hearing about wifes like it , is there a model with a kitchen in it!:rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:
You haven't met my wife. I always say that my kitchen is like a formal dining room... It only gets used on holidays and birthdays...:rm_thumbdown:

If I didn't have a grill we would be eating cereal everyday. Oh and those deeeliiiisious peanut butter and jelly sandwiches...:sign_tbnt:

At 48 years old, I have never owned an atv. I bought an 09 RZR 2 months ago and after reading this thread, it confirms I made the right decision. The wife, daughter and I love it!

Ditto.....we are owners in a 6500 Ranch in MO. Cloud 9 Ranch...and I sold my 07 Honda Rincon with a seat on back for the wife....She loves the RZR and would not even want to go back to a ATV.....I will be 50 the first of next year and have been riding since I was 7...almost everything with 2 or 4 wheels.....and same also,,,not backing down from riding....Just a lot more snow on top and old bones won't heal likle they use to....I am Loving this machine....Don't miss the ATV at all...!!!

I had two Polaris quads, ATP 550 and a Magnum 300 for my wife and we have never had as much fun on the quads as we do the RZR LE. Like many of the other guys have stated, you can ride all day and you're not going to be sore the next day. Now that the snow has finally melted here in Wyoming I have put quite a few miles on the past few weekends. Go with the RZR if you want to hang with the quads, besides the roll bar on the S model goes over the bed limiting what you can put back there.

Never had a Quad. Rode dirt bikes in the late 60s and rode the length of Baja in 71 rode desert enduros and hair and hound in the 80s. Can't get the trails and mountains out of my soul. I saw SxS's but they looked high and utilitarian. Saw my first RZR in early 08. Got one in April 08. I felt I was too old for a Quad and feared I would stand on the pegs and try to ride it with distant flawed images of younger days.

At 73 with my wife, or my Aussie, or alone I ride a comfortable pace, sometimes though if the trail narrows ahead and I'm beside someone I forget and floor it. I hope for many more years. With age comes the cage.

I sold my Sportsman 500 this weekend. I rode it almost every weekend prior to getting the rzr. Now I have no more guilt for leaving the Sportsman behind.

You'd be surprised where a RZR will go if you really want it to get there. I push mine hard up the sides of mountains and through tight bush trails and she hasn't failed yet. There are a few places quads will go further but the benefits far out weigh the draw backs.
