A few months back there was a thread where someone posted about using a glue to hold down the edges of a flag to prevent it from fraying. I am hoping that the persons is reading this and posts the glue he uses on his flags.
Gluing the edges of Flag to prevent it from fraying.

My buddy had some ladies make him some 12x18 American flags, some with 5/8” sleeves, some with 1” sleeves. The flag edges are quadrupled stitched but the sleeve stitching was a weak double stitch that came apart in the first 50 miles. I decided to try gluing the problem area and the glued flags have held up perfectly since November. Not sure if the Loctite will do as well on the edges but it gets a thumbs up from me.
About 2-3 years ago I saw a flag that had a piece of dark leather sewed on the edges on 3 sides of the flag, we asked how that held up, the lady that was a passenger stated it was going on 3 years without coming apart or fraying anywhere.
