Anyone else going to Glamis for new years we will be there from 12/27 to 01/04 :redrzr:
I grew up in California and lived in Las Vegas for a while. I first started going to Glamis and Dumont around 1988. When are you KC guys heading out? I imagine you're taking I70. I live in Jeff City so I'm taking 40 to avoid the Rocky Mountains. It's too much of a gamble with winter weather IMO. We are leaving Dec 26th.
That is a bold statementill tell you the same thing I tell all new people to glamis, DO NOT HAUL BUT THREW THE DUNES!! they will eat you like a cupcake ! feel the place out and take note before you start hauling but out there, :scared2: ive been more times than anybody on this site and ive seen it all out thereI plan to be! Would like to hear more about this day trip to Mexico. Where do you cross? You know... With the Giant fence and all.Wash 22 or 23.. Away from idiots and the dust.... Annual trip, t-shits and shorts, 75-80 Deg's in the day, sitting in the desert getting a tan in a lawn chair sucking beers down.. Day Trip to Mexico, 2 weeks out, already can't wait.
Don't buy stuff from the local store? Seriously????Make sure you have your flag, helmets, any fuel tanks have a valve, drive a 4x4 truck, don't buy stuff from the local store, try and team up with someone in the event you get lost, stuck, break down etc!
Hey, we don't ride there via off-road. We go via the pavement down Highway 78 to Interstate #8, east towards Yuma. Exit is Los Algondones. It's a small border town. We park on the USA side and walk over. You need a passport to go back and forth. :rzrflag:Would like to hear more about this day trip to Mexico. Where do you cross? You know...
