This post will be specifically related to gear reduction information only. If you have a specific question about gear reduction please start a post with your question. Let's keep this informational only.

I'm going to be compiling all the gear reduction information for all models into this post. I was in the process of modifying the original Gear Reduction Spreadsheet when @RWB713 told me he had an updated version. The updated version already had the changes I was adding (final drive ratios). So a huge thanks to Richard!. This will be a work in progress as there is a LOT of data to add. The new spreadsheet covers all model through 2019. If you have tooth counts for 20/21 models please let me know so I can enter the data in the spreadsheet.

This thread should provide all the information for anyone looking to do a gear reduction. It will evolve to include, data, part sources, videos, etc....

Update 3/8/21:
Here is a link to the new Gear Reduction Spreadsheet: RZR Forum
New features include final drive ratio, front/rear drive ratio, MPH calculations, tire change calculation, total reduction with gear/tire combinations.

Please let me know if you have trouble downloading the spreadsheet. I will post instructions on how to use the spreadsheet later.

Once again, If you have tooth counts for 20/21 models please let me know so I can enter the data in the spreadsheet. List them according to the spreadsheet lettering, example: 1A - 42T

@Crash City SxS Need your help my friend with the Pro XP models. I know you've down a couple and the intermediate gearing is different than a XPT. Can you give me the #s so I can put them in the spreadsheet and options above.
I didn’t count them when we had them apart but let me do some digging and see if I can find anything.

This list is for Turbo machines only correct? Do you have a compiled list with OEM part #s for the regular XP1000’s 2 and 4 seat available?

I’ve been reading a lot lately on the stage 3 gear reduction. What’s your thoughts on that?

I assume you mean the 10/19% reductions from Optimum Offroad? I believe they were purchased by a larger company and those gears are no longer available.

SATV also makes a Stage 3 set. I will add in all the aftermarket options once I get the OEM stuff finished.

Needs a note in the xp1k section about the highlifter low range only reduction not working on the 2014-15 models? Also on those models do you just need to switch to a 2016 secondary clutch to make that work?

Note added for 14/15 models

Still working on it. ;)

I believe a 16+ secondary is all that is required but I need to dig into when I have time.

Copy and paste error, should be #3235633 HL DBL Chain
When I look up all the info on parts for the 36.36% Low :12.29% High : 12.29% Reverse. trying to figure out if all of the sprokets are on the list for the double reverse chain. The part number for the chain only show the chain and no sprockets. Is all of the necessary hardware to do the double reverse chain on this list?
Thanks for taking the time to do all of this.

Sorry if I missed this but ... Any updates on the Pro XP gearing?
Is the Pro XP basically geared the same as the XPT or did Polaris improve / lower it some?

It's only minor differences if any, still working through stuff.

I’ve got a buddy going to reduce his pro but he doesn’t know for sure when. After the cloud of belt smoke on big widowmaker at Hollerwood this weekend it may be sooner than he was planning lol.

@RZR_Joe are you still needing tooth counts in a pro?
