With all due respect wh sure these belts better than OEM?
They appear to with over 200 sold and zero complaints I would say yes. Just do a search on here, all postive so far.

Only people hurting these are people who need clutching, too big of tires or snorkeling which no belt will hold up with wrong set ups.

For one thing, they will not shread into strings that get caught up in the clutch sheaves like how the OEM does when they break. That characteristic of the belt and the fact that the reviews have been great about them was enough for me.

Great break in summary Todd. Thanks for posting. Cant say that I've followed it to a T but heck, something just takes over when I get behind the wheel of the rzr --but no worries.
I will assure anyone, profit is not so important to me to sell a bad product. What ever we have is a good product or it has to go no matter what we make on it. Bad products catch you quickly and we been around 10 years.

I have no complaints with my gates carbon belt at all...I have only put about 150 miles on it but it has been tuff miles..

The only thing I wish was the break in instructions were posted sooner...

Unless something outrageous happens I won't be spending $200 bucks on the Polaris belt...I'll be buying the gates

That really good then, I am not to worry about strings in the shaves, sure PIA to get them out, but more worry is the string destroying the rear main seal. Because only way to fix that right way, is to the split engine cases. Not hard, but costly....
I will try one with turbo then. :ride:

So I didn't break mine in and have almost a 1000 miles on it. Todd's not going to send me a Christmas card this year.

Great posting on the belt break-in procedure, Todd. Good advice and information! 'Course, the logically-challenged, "run it like you stole it" crowd won't reap the benefit of your effort, but that's OK; we still need their misguided response, just to establish the lower-end of the average-curve...........LOL.

Cheers
