I pulled my fuel pump assy out last night because my fuel level on my rzr 1000 xp was reading empty(flashing) The fuel tank was full. After I got the fuel pump assy out and inspected the unit the float was heavy enough it would not float. I placed the whole assy in a bucket of fuel to see if the float would float, it would not float.

So my question is, can I buy just the float? Or is there a aftermarket replacement for just the float I can Buy:question::question::question:

THANKS!!!!!!!!!

My 16 is the same way. I'm never very far from fuel, so I haven't been overly concerned. I keep it full. It's nice to know others have the same issues though.

So I got lucky. I went to my Polaris dealer and they were pulling a bad fuel pump and they gave(yes gave) me the old float. It fit and after I reinstalled the assy I read full. So give your Polaris dealer a try and see if they are pulling a old fuel pump. If they want your business they will work with you...

I am still awaiting it other float I ordered. I will re post when I get it...

Just ran across this problem with my 2015 RZR S 900. Been noticing the fuel gauge had been reading the fuel was lower than it really was, but now it shows empty (flashing gauge) all the time. Been doing this for 4-5 months now, but I fill up full every time I go out to ride, and then just watch the millage for the fuel level. When I first bought my RZR I would put higher grade gas in it, but over time, either I just didn't want to spend that much or my father would be using my RZR and fill he would fill it up with Regular. But I was just told it could be getting gas logged by the ethanol that is in the fuel. But how are you suppose to replace the floater when the rod that holds the floater on as a this flat spot (key) area with the washer holding it on. And if I cut it off, then what will old the new floater on from DJS Tractor Parts?
