front wheels tilted in, is this normal?

I am considering a used rzr 170 for my kids. The front wheels seem to be tilted in considerably, is this normal on these? Other than this, the 170 looks to be in decent condition, runs well.

Its a 2011, I think he is high on his price ($3500), whats a decent price on a used one? New out the door at a local dealer is $4400, that was by phone call, I am sure it would be cheaper in person with cash.

Its hard to verify the condition of the exterior as it is muddy. The last time his kids rode it, it was too cold to wash it, everything else in his garage is clean and well kept.

Anything in particular to be concerned with on these? Pretty reliable?

He may have different shocks on it making it tilt in. Stock my wheels may tilt in a little but once you get some weight in it it goes back to normal. I know alot of people put raptor shocks or others on it and they are usually longer shocks that will cause wheel tilt. I would offer 3000 if its in good shape no more that 3200.

660 raptor usually can get them pretty cheap and they bolt up and work well

Depends on the weight they will tilt the other way when they are in it. The longer shocks will help with that. The raptors are about a half inch longer.

The 170 is a single A arm set up , without the top (second) A arm when weight is added (riders) the suspension compresses it will tilt the top of the wheels towards the machine . That is normal . The top Arm that is on the bigger machines keeps the wheels vertical as the suspension moves up and down. Here's a picture of ours with raptor shocks and a 2" lift kit on the front.
