The Chassis Bones sleeve your upper and lower rear frame tubes and increase the thickness by 130% They greatly increasing the strength in your chassis where it gets a lot of stress from the A-arm mounts. Also the lower tubes can be easy to dent if you hit a rock hard and these prevent the frame tubes from deforming. Even if you are just doing moderate trail riding the Chassis Bones are a good piece of insurance to prevent frame damage. The Chassis Bones also feature a machined end piece with a rubber o-ring that will keep out mud. These are a simple bolt on mod. No welding required.
