Just FYI...I've tinkered with my TPS and even with it way off it didn't set that code.."TPS shorted to battery"...check the reference voltage wire..should be ~5v I believe...ie not battery voltage..might confirm if there is actually a problem. How does it run? Can't imagine if the TPS was shorted to battery V it would run at all?
What was done prior to the problem? I assume you had an issue to be adjusting the TPS or were you installing a new one or new TB? Maybe the code was there before you adjusted it? Did you install something or do some work on the machine other than a TPS adjustment? Does the Powercommander interface with the TPS? Those are the thngs I would look at...

BTW...call me crazy but I want to say I remember hearing about a few Powercommanders failing and causing some issues...but I am pretty sure I was hearing from can-am guys...might be worth disconnecting though for TS purposes. On those it was causing an injector problem.

Fixed it forgot I had a bored throttle body a buddy gave me some advise as to how to set up this type. Set idle then check setting and which is kinda back words but works for bored throttle bodys, then they unplugged it and it gone. Thanks guys for the help.
